Best B-Complex Without Niacin Flush

B-complex supplements from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database whose labels list no nicotinic acid, the flushing form of niacin, ranked by how completely the label discloses what is in the product.

Why People Avoid Niacin Flush

Nicotinic acid, the form most people mean by "niacin," causes flushing at doses as low as 30 to 50 mg: warmth, redness, itching, and tingling of the face and chest within about 20 minutes. It is harmless but unpleasant enough that many people stop taking the product.

Niacinamide (nicotinamide) does not cause flushing and covers the vitamin's role as a NAD+ precursor, so it is the form most B-complex products use. Inositol hexanicotinate is sold as "no-flush niacin" but releases little free niacin.

This list keeps only labels that name a non-flushing niacin form. If a clinician prescribed nicotinic acid for lipids, a no-flush product is not a substitute.

790 of 993 on-market B-complex labels that list niacin list niacin only as niacinamide or another non-flushing form.

Ranked by label detail (stated amounts, named forms, a complete other-ingredients list), then by fewest other ingredients. The ranking reflects what the label discloses, not product testing, purity, or efficacy.
